How do I get started?"
Beginning your journey to fitness and wellness at Lyndell Institute is easy. Simply select the discipline you are interested in for more information on how to begin:

Tae Kwon Do is for you!
(1) Simply find a class on our schedule that is convenient for you, and show up 10-15 minutes before class begins to experience your FREE TRIAL CLASS.
No need to make an appointment or call ahead, as we are always happy to meet new friends!
(2) We will ask you to fill out an enrollment form before class begins, which is found at the front desk. Don't worry, this form does not obligate you to ANYTHING. We have NO CONTRACTS, no long-term commitments at Lyndell Institute. The form is simply our opportunity to give you a student information packet and exchange information.
(3) Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in (shorts, sweats, t-shirt). No need to have a uniform when you first begin training. Most people begin training in their comfortable street clothes. For safety, please remove shoes, socks, and jewelry.
(4) Meet the Instructor and join us for class! Parents and friends: we have an open-viewing policy, which means you can sit and watch your child or friend take class. We want you to be comfortable with the material we are teaching your loved one!

After the FREE TRIAL CLASS, we offer a 3-week Beginner's Special, which includes 3 weeks of unlimited attendance to our full program (including evening fitness classes!) for only $29 per person. You are never limited to certain days a week; we have a class for you 6 days a week! Come every day if you want...3 times a day if you want! In 3 weeks, you will know for sure if you or your child would like to continue training. Then, we ask for monthly tuition, which entitles you to unlimited attendance to our Tae Kwon Do and evening Fitness Classes!

Our Punch-Card program is for you!
(1) Simply find a class on our schedule that is convenient for you, and show up 10 minutes before class begins to experience your $5 TRIAL CLASS. Don't worry, all of our classes are Beginner-Friendly and we have new students all the time, so don't worry about feeling inexperienced or out of shape! We love to make new friends! No need to make an appointment or call ahead, just show up when it is convenient for you!
(2) We will ask you to fill out an enrollment form before class begins, which is found at the front desk. Don't worry, this form does not obligate you to ANYTHING. We have NO CONTRACTS, no long-term commitments at Lyndell Institute. The form is simply our opportunity to give you a student information sheet and exchange information.
(3) Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in (no fancy outfits required: shorts and a t-shirt work just fine!). If you have a yoga mat, you can bring it to join us for Yoga, Pilates, Mixed Mat, Body Sculpt, or FitBall. If you don't, no worries, we'll lend you one! If you are joining us for a Cardio class, please wear clean, supportive athletic shoes. A water bottle and hand towel (for sweaty faces!) is also recommended! We provide the rest!

In fact, we make your fitness experience as convenient for you as possible. No need to sign up for a 4-8 week session in Yoga or Pilates. Why not? Because life happens. Say you get sick or take vacation or simply want a night off: then you've pre-paid for a class you didn't attend. Say you feel like Cardio Kickboxing one night and Body Sculpt another. Say you feel like coming every night this week and only two nights next week. With out PUNCH CARD system, you:
Pay only for those classes you attend!
Attend when you want, as often as you want, whatever class you want!
The numbered cards don't expire!
Cross-train...mix it up...avoid exercise boredom!
15-Punch Card: $100 (no expiration date)
30-Punch Card: $170 (no expiration date)
The Unlimited Card (as many classes as you'd like to attend

Our Morning Session program is for you!
(1) Simply find a class on our schedule that is convenient for you, and call or email us to register for class. We will add you to the list, ask for a contact number, and request that you simply submit payment a few days before class begins, either by mail or in person. See our Hours of Operation for an in-person registration (No one at the desk? Use our Tuition Drop Box and write the class title in the memo line).

"Why do you have sessions in the morning and not in the evening?"
Simple. It is easy to skip out on a class that starts at 5:30am on days that you feel tired. If you skip class, ultimately you will feel like you've cheated yourself of the fitness experience and the money you paid for the class! Pre-payment is your commitment that you will complete the session and reap the benefits!
